Working with what is already there
None of these treatments add anything to your face. A lift curls the lashes you have, lamination redirects the brow hair you have, and a tint darkens both so the gaps stop showing.
That makes them the sensible place to start if you are curious about permanent makeup but not ready to commit to it. You get a version of the same result that grows out on its own.
Plenty of people never go further, and that is a perfectly good outcome. Rai will tell you honestly if a tint would get you most of the way there.

Lash and brow questions
Is a lash lift the same as extensions?
No. A lift works with the lashes you already have, curling them up from the root so they open the eye. Nothing is glued on, so there is no weight, no infills, and nothing to fall off unevenly a fortnight later.
How long does it last?
Until your own lashes have turned over, since they shed and regrow on their own cycle. Rai will tell you roughly when to rebook based on how yours behave, rather than quoting a number that suits everybody.
What is the difference between brow lamination and a brow tint?
Lamination changes the direction of the hair, setting it to sit up and cover gaps, so it is about shape. A tint changes the colour of the hair, so it is about depth. They are often booked together because they solve different halves of the same problem.
Do I need a patch test for these?
Yes, for anything involving tint or lamination, at least 24 hours beforehand. It takes a few minutes and it is booked in before the appointment itself.
